What this means for you

  • If you need to do laundry in the middle of the night, search all three categories (laundry service, self-service laundry and launderette), not just one.
  • These are registered opening hours, not a guarantee that a place is open on any given night, and public holidays are not recorded. Check before you set off.

None of the 21,767 is marked permanently closed, but the 482,074 it is measured against does include closed places. A further 260 have no state recorded and are counted only in the national total. Each business is filed under one category only.
