Tastefully Food Expo 2026: keropok lekor, buy 5 get 1 free, for three days at Sunway Pyramid — and the next two editions
The 15th-anniversary edition went by the name Tastefully Wonderfood: stall deals over three days, and a physique contest nobody expected at a food fair. The organiser's remaining editions this year already have dates.

Official schedule: 18–20 September 2026. Dates are from the organiser's announcement. We cannot confirm that the event is running on any particular day.
Tastefully Food Expo's 15th-anniversary edition, billed as Tastefully Wonderfood, ran for three days at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre, Friday to Sunday, 18–20 September 2026. The stalls the organiser previewed on Instagram included keropok lekor, the East Coast fish snack in crisp form, a sea salt blue yogurt and Janat Paris fruit teas; the official posters listed food tasting too. The same organiser has two more editions on its official schedule this year: 13–15 November at Mid Valley Southkey, JB, and 25–27 December at Mid Valley Exhibition Centre KL — for anyone in the Klang Valley, it's the second one that matters.
At a glance
- The three days: 18–20 September 2026 at Sunway Pyramid Convention Centre
- Which floor: the organiser put the hall on Level CP3; once you're in the mall, follow the signs for the convention centre. Organiser's post
- Hours: the organiser's website schedule said 10:00–22:00; its pinned Instagram post and the poster headers said 11:00–22:00, and the organiser never reconciled the two
- Tickets: not announced by the organiser as of 14 September 2026; by 5 October 2026 the schedule page no longer listed this edition at all
- The next two: Mid Valley Southkey, JB, 13–15 November (Mega Sales Carnival); Mid Valley Exhibition Centre KL, 25–27 December (Christmas Edition). The website gives 10:00–22:00 for both, with no stalls or programme announced yet
- Getting to Sunway Pyramid: BRT Sunway Line to Sunway Lagoon. From KL Sentral, take the LRT Kelana Jaya Line to USJ 7 or the KTM Port Klang Line to Setia Jaya, then change to the BRT. Getting here
- Parking: the mall's standard bays cost RM2 for the first hour on weekdays (RM12 max) and RM3 on weekends, public holidays and their eves (RM15 max), then RM1 for every hour or part of an hour
Highlights
- Keropok lekor chips, buy five get one free: Leekor Lekor's keropok lekor chips (Crispy Fish Cracker) — “the East Coast favourite”, as the organiser's post put it — went at buy five, get one free, with the poster putting the saving at RM11.90, at FoneRewards' booths H03A and H05. The poster carried a FoneRewards app QR code but never said whether you needed the app for the deal. The same post had RM5 off PureGrains grain drinks, with a high bar: spend at least RM80, new FoneRewards users who join the Purelife Solutions community only, one redemption per person, ending once fully redeemed, and the small print limited it to the 18–20 September run. Organiser's Instagram post
- Booth 193, for sea salt blue yogurt and fruit tea: Sea Salt Blue Yogurt is yogurt with a hint of sea salt — sweet and tangy, in the poster's words — and the same booth had Janat Paris fruit teas (apple, muscat, strawberry and more) and herbal teas (camomile, rosehip and hibiscus, peppermint and more). - A men's physique contest inside a food fair: Battle of Physique, themed Jeans Showdown, ran 11:00 to 18:00 on Saturday 19 September. Of the organiser's pinned set of posters, this was the one nobody saw coming: food tasting at one end of the hall, men flexing on stage at the other.
- Two music shows over the weekend, and a singing audition on the Sunday: a music academy took the stage under the banner “Little Stars, Big Dreams, Loud Applause!” — 18:30–19:00 on Saturday 19 September and 17:30–18:30 on Sunday 20 September. Dream Live Academy and the International Performers Association ran a singing audition on 20 September from 12:00 to 14:30, with an RM80 entry fee and only 30 places; the post said to register on WhatsApp. The winner took RM600 and the first runner-up RM300, and the poster said both qualified for the overseas final audition, in Egypt. Results were announced 16:00–16:30. Audition post
- Lucky draws and a board game, every day: draws at 15:00 and 20:00, and the Tastefully Wonderfood Ladder Board Game from 12:00 to 14:00 and 16:00 to 18:00, with a daily gift-with-purchase also marked on the same set of posters. T&Cs applied to both.
- Limited-edition goodies bags and a tumbler for September birthdays: the same set of posters said the limited-edition goodies bags went first come, first served, while stocks lasted; a Tastefully Star Club (TSC) poster said anyone born in September could redeem one Tastefully Wonderfood limited-edition tumbler at the Redemption Counter, one each, without saying whether you had to join the club first. T&Cs applied to both.

If you're after the next one
- If you have your eye on 13–15 November or 25–27 December: the website schedule gives only the edition name, dates, hours and venue — stalls, programme and tickets are all still to be announced by the organiser, and September's booth deals do not carry over
- If you want to know the stalls in advance: September's stalls, deals and programme went out one poster at a time on the organiser's own Instagram, and not one of them appeared on the schedule page
- If you just fancy a wander round Sunway Pyramid: the mall trades 10:00–22:00 daily, and SPCC sits inside the mall premises. About Sunway Pyramid
