Two things to settle before you book: which night to pick, and how you're getting out of Bandar Sunway afterwards.

Nights of Fright 12 is Sunway Lagoon's after-dark scare event, and the theme this time is APEOCALYPSE — the park's own spelling, taken straight off the key visual it has released. It runs from 25 September to 7 November 2026, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only, 19:30 to 23:30 each night, at RM138.00 a ticket. One thing to know first: last checked 17 September 2026, the park had released the key visual and the event calendar, but not a single haunted house or scare zone has been named. At that price you're buying a theme and a date, not a line-up you can check. The park is in Bandar Sunway, Selangor (official ticket store, official event page).

- Getting there: KTM to Subang Jaya Station or LRT to Kelana Jaya Station, then a feeder bus to the Sunway Pyramid stop either way; on the BRT, get off at Station 3, where a covered walkway takes you the 260 metres to the park. Highlights
- A giant ape in a gold crown and red cloak, on the official key visual: it stands in front of fire and thick smoke, and the line printed with it reads Once you step in, survival is no longer in your hands
- Every ticket has to be paired with a Potato Crisps item priced RM0.00: the product is literally called NOF 12 Admission Ticket + Potato Crisps, and the note says to select the same quantity of tickets and Potato Crisps — the park's own example is 5 tickets to 5 packets. The item is listed at RM0.00 on the store, so check that the two quantities match in your cart before you pay
- The NOF12 section of the store carries only three products: last checked 17 September 2026, it lists admission, admission bundled with an Xpress Pass, and the Xpress Pass listed on its own — there is no advance-purchase discount, and no student, group or member price. Tips
- The shuttle stops at 21:30, two hours before the event does: the free shuttle listed on the park's getting-here page is a service around Sunway City, not a bus laid on for this event, and it runs 07:00 to 21:30 Monday to Friday and 09:00 to 21:30 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, every 25 minutes, subject to traffic conditions; the event goes on until 23:30. So the ride home at the end of the night is not one the shuttle can cover: if you're driving, there's parking at Sunway Pyramid and at Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa; if you're not, arrange the trip back yourself beforehand. A covered walkway links the BRT station to the park, but the getting-here page gives no last service time at night, so anyone planning to take the BRT back should check that first. Getting here
- Bringing children? Read this one to the end: the park has set no minimum age, height limit or horror rating for this event, so the only thing to judge it by is the park-wide admission conditions — rules for the whole park, not for this event. They say children aged 12 and below must be with a competent person aged 18 or above; the park rules separately say children must be with an adult at all times in the park. The line on the FAQ page about Scream Park being recommended for those above 7 years old refers to the permanent Scream Park, not to this event. If you're unsure, call the park at 03-5639 0000 first. - The wristband gets you in once: the same admission conditions say a wristband is for single entry and cannot be used again once you've left
- No outside food or drink: that is in the same conditions. For this event specifically, nothing official covers lockers, food inside the park or cosplay rules

- Picked your night already? The online ticketing policy says there is no exchange, refund, replacement or extension under any circumstances. No cancellation is accepted once a purchase is confirmed. Check the date, the headcount and the names before you pay
- Thinking of 1 November? That date is marked SOLD OUT on the official event calendar, but the calendar is a static promotional graphic uploaded in August 2026 (last checked 17 September 2026). For any given night, go by what the official store shows at the time
- Adding an Xpress Pass? The store has two ways to buy it: bundled into an admission ticket (NOF 12 Admission Ticket + Xpress Pass + Potato Crisps), or listed on its own (NOF 12 - Xpress Pass + Early Access) at RM98.00 — but the product note says to add it to your own NOF 12 admission ticket, and it is not an admission ticket in itself. The name carries the words Early Access, yet nothing official says what time that early entry starts, so be clear which of the two you are buying before you pay
