Apple Watch Series 12 Malaysia 2026: from RM1,799, in stores 18 Sept
On its own, the entry-level RM1,799 model falls short of the 0% instalment threshold. Hypertension Notifications won't be available here at first, and on 18 September the TRX store opens two hours early, at 08:00.
The new Apple Watch gives your body a score out of 10 every day, so you know whether to push hard or ease off.
Apple Malaysia announced on 10 September 2026 that Apple Watch Series 12 starts at RM1,799 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 at RM3,699. Pre-orders opened on 11 September, and both go on sale in stores from Friday 18 September. Series 12 press release · Ultra 4 press release
AirPods 5, from RM599, go on sale the same day.
What's new
- A readiness score. Apple says it looks at your recent activity, training load, vitals and sleep score, then gives you a score from 0 to 10 with one of four recommendations: Recover, Pace Yourself, Ready or Go For It. It updates through the day as new data comes in.
- Heart rate every five seconds. The new Health Sensing System brings new optical and electrical heart sensors. Paired with the S11 chip, it gives Series 12 what Apple calls “the most accurate heart rate sensing in a wearable”. That's based on Apple's own comparison study of more than 1,000 participants. Heart rate variability (HRV) is measured up to 24 times more often than before.
- 15 minutes on the charger, up to 12 more hours. Everyday battery life is up to 24 hours, and up to 10 hours during an outdoor workout. Apple says that fast-charge figure is 50% better than the previous model's, and outdoor workout battery life is 25% longer.
- Now in ceramic. Ceramic comes in pearl white and night blue, titanium in radiant gold and natural, and aluminium in dark bronze, black, light gold and space grey, all in 42mm and 46mm. Aluminium models get Ceramic Shield 2, which Apple says is 60% tougher than the Ion-X glass on the previous aluminium models.
