Ekspo Kucing 2026, the 9th cat expo: MITEC, Kuala Lumpur, 9–11 October, with no ticket price published yet

As of 8 October 2026 the organisers have not published a ticket price, said whether visitors need to register first, put out an hour-by-hour programme or given a booth or brand count for this edition. What is nailed down: the dates, the daily hours, and the venue's own bus, rail and parking arrangements.

A cover built on the organisers' official poster: a yellow background with half a cat's face leaning in from each side and the event's date block in the middle; text: the date block reads 9▸11 OKT 2026 and MITEC, KUALA LUMPUR; a rounded label above it reads Event · Kuala Lumpur; a small tab at the bottom left reads Image: organiser; the warm white band below reads Open 10:00–21:00 daily, and under it 9–11 October · MITEC, Kuala Lumpur; the dark strip at the very bottom reads Every corner, everywhere., HiGo Corner Journal, higo.shop.

Ekspo Kucing 2026 (Asia Cat Expo) is back at MITEC in Kuala Lumpur for its 9th edition, 9–11 October 2026, 10:00–21:00 each day (the organisers' fact sheet). On their event page the organisers, Murni Ekspo Sdn Bhd, call it Malaysia's largest annual feline exhibition, and say the focus is cat competitions, adoption drives and educational sharing. All three days run to 21:00, so you can still get there after work.

  • Who it's for: anyone who already has a cat, or is thinking of getting one. The organisers' fact sheet lists the exhibitor categories. The ones you can browse are pet food and treats, care and grooming, accessories and toys, furniture and equipment, veterinary and medical, pet shops and retailers, online pet shops and breeders. Four others — suppliers and brand owners, distributors and wholesalers, OEM manufacturers, and importers and exporters — are trade stands, there for the industry rather than for shoppers. Whether you can bring your own cat is not stated on any official page
  • Size: as of 8 October 2026, no booth or brand count for this edition has been published. • Getting there: take the 821 or 851 bus and get off at the KL 1022 MATRADE South bus station, a 4-minute walk from MITEC. On the MRT, get off at Semantan and take a taxi or e-hailing from there — the venue puts it at about a 10-minute drive, too far to walk. On the KTM, get off at Segambut and do the same. E-hailing drops off at the MITEC South Entrance. Venue FAQ
  • Parking: basement car parks 1 and 1A are RM10 for the first hour, RM5 an hour after that and a maximum of RM15 a day, and motorcycle parking is free; the MATRADE outdoor car park is RM 7 to RM14 per entry. The venue says parking on site is cashless and the rates include SST. Paying by Visa, Mastercard or debit card adds a 10% service provider fee. Venue FAQ
