All three of Malaysia's group games tip off at 19:00, the first against China on opening night — but since 18 April 2026 there has been no KTM Komuter on the Kuala Lumpur to Seremban stretch between 10:00 and 16:00.

The FIBA U18 Women’s Asia Cup 2026 Division A runs 4–10 October 2026 at Karisma Arena in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, with 8 teams in two groups and all 20 games in the same arena, according to the official event page. Hosts Malaysia are in Group B, with China, Japan and Chinese Taipei.

- Australia arrive with back-to-back titles and are chasing what the official preview calls a “three-peat”: in this competition, the last side to take three or more in a row was China, who won five consecutive titles from 2010 to 2018. Australia beat the host nation 96–79 in the 2024 final in Shenzhen.
- Seremban stages another FIBA youth event: the official preview says the city is hosting this one a year after the FIBA U16 Women's Asia Cup. The previous edition, the 26th, drew 20.6 million live views across FIBA's official YouTube page and Chinese social media platforms, counting both divisions together.
A few things about the schedule
- The semi-finals have no tip-off time yet: the Qualification to Semi-Finals on 8 October (Thursday) and the semi-finals on 9 October (Friday) are on the official schedule with dates but no tip-off time. Two games on those days do have times: the 7–8 classification game at 14:00 on 8 October and the 5–6 classification game at 14:00 on 9 October.
- Whether Malaysia play after 8 October depends on where they finish in the group: the final-phase fixtures on the official schedule still have no team names in them.
- The official schedule page shows times in your own time zone: the official schedule data is tagged Asia/Kuala_Lumpur, UTC+8. Every time above is Malaysian time.

As of 30 September 2026 there was nothing official on tickets, prices or admission, so the official event page is the one to watch — for now it carries the schedule, the teams and the stream link. One thing to look out for: the Ticket2u page linked from the Karisma Arena website is for the men's FIBA Asia Cup 2029 Pre-Qualifiers in August 2026, not this event, and it's an easy one to land on if you search for “Karisma Arena tickets”.
- Coming from Kuala Lumpur by train? All three of Malaysia's group games tip off at 19:00, and the KTMB notice says that from 18 April 2026, during the KVDT2 works between Salak Selatan and Seremban, there is no KTM Komuter service between 10:00 and 16:00 on the Midvalley–Pulau Sebang and Pulau Sebang–Bandar Tasik Selatan stretches; there are 5 morning trains from Pulau Sebang to Batu Caves and 5 evening trains from Batu Caves to Pulau Sebang, 15 to 30 minutes apart. So the only trains towards Seremban are the 5 in the evening, and the ones back towards Kuala Lumpur are the 5 in the morning; the notice advises passengers to check the timetable, plan ahead and use alternative transport.
