HOMEDEC Penang 2026 at Setia SPICE, 2–4 October: one receipt of RM200 or more gets you into the draw
The organiser's own terms spell out the prize pool, the spending thresholds and the giveaways. Whether you pay at the door is the one thing the site never mentions.

Official schedule: 2–4 October 2026. Dates are from the organiser's announcement. We cannot confirm that the event is running on any particular day.
HOMEDEC is back in Penang — those are the organiser's own words: C.I.S Network Sdn Bhd opens its Bonanza Prizes page with "HOMEDEC Penang is back" (official show page). The show runs 2–4 October 2026, Friday to Sunday, 11:00–21:00 daily, at Setia SPICE Convention Centre, Penang. It is worth half a day of your time: appliances, kitchens, mattresses, doors and windows, water filtration and solar all sit under one roof, and this time every spending threshold is spelt out. Hand your receipt in at the counter and you walk out with a gift, a card to pick, or a draw entry.
At a glance
- Hours: Friday 2 October to Sunday 4 October 2026, 11:00–21:00 — the same hours on all three days. Official eShowguide
- Admission: as of 1 October 2026, neither the organiser's website nor the official eShowguide states whether there is a charge — the admission note in the eShowguide is one sentence, "Admission is open to the general public", followed by nothing but the dates and the 11:00–21:00 hours, so set aside a bit of cash for it, just in case
- Who it's for: anyone who wants to compare fridges, kitchen fit-outs, mattresses, doors, water filters and solar water heaters in a single afternoon. The official floor plan splits the hall into 11 zones, with booth rows A to E plus a P row
- Pre-registration: the organiser presents it as fast-tracked entry — you skip the queue and get one extra draw entry. It is not a condition of getting in. Official registration page
- Parking and drop-off: the official floor plan marks a MULTI LEVEL CAR PARK and a DROP OFF AREA, so you can park on site or get dropped off at the door. Parking charges, public transport links and the venue's street address are not stated by the organiser
What to look for
- Look for the red price tags first: the organiser tells visitors to keep an eye out for the "Red" Price Tags, the marker for HOMEDEC Savers. The Savers page advertises discounts of up to 70% off, Buy 1 Free 1 deals and trade-in offers of up to 50% off, on everything from kitchen and home appliances to water solutions, home essentials and interior design services. The organiser does not state which exhibitors or which goods carry a red tag, so you will have to walk the floor and look. Official Savers page, Official show page
- A single receipt of RM200 or more puts you in the Disney Cruise draw: the organiser calls the whole scheme Shop Big Win Big, and presenting the receipt at the Contest Counter counts as one entry; the official prize table lists the Disney Cruise as 1 unit. On a separate page the organiser puts the Bonanza Prizes at up to RM10,000 and names 3 Tefal X-Clean 4 wet and dry cordless vacuum cleaners and 3 cash prizes of RM1,000; the organiser does not say whether the cruise sits inside that RM10,000. Official grand prize page, Official Bonanza Prizes page
- The same RM200 receipt also puts you in for Special Prizes: a second set of prizes on that same RM200 threshold, each one sponsored by a named exhibitor. The organiser names the BACFREE Just Tap Trio, a Methis Living Design coffee table, a Codecor UV machine, the Slumberland Comfort Rest Plus, MAVA's Fuzion and Tron fans, a Tefal Quickchef 7-piece set and a Vinnfier 3 in 1 portable speaker. Official Special Prizes page
- If you are buying something big, check the Instant Reward tiers: there are three of them, and the organiser's table reads at least RM3,000 for a Sistema TakeAlong Deep Square 4-piece set or a Storage Box XXXL; at least RM6,000 for a SimplusKitchen electric cooker or sandwich maker; at least RM15,000 for a Tefal Quickchef 7-piece set, a Tefal Easy Rice cooker, a La Gourmet 12L healthy electric oven or a Vinnfier 3 in 1 speaker. Separately there is the HOMEDEC FRENZ Bonus Reward Pick: a single receipt of RM1,000 or more earns you one pick from a row of face-down cards, and whatever the card shows is yours. The terms restrict it to registered and verified HOMEDEC FRENZ members with an active account at the time of redemption, and the official steps start with logging in as a member; it runs on a first-come, first-served basis while stocks last. Official Instant Reward page, Official FRENZ page
- Register and visit: one Tefal 6.0L Multicooker goes out each day: the terms say three Tefal 6.0L Multicookers in total across the three days, one a day. Registering only adds a draw entry; it is not a condition of getting in. Get there early and there is a door gift too: the organiser describes free door gifts such as a Solaroo Cable Set and other everyday bits, picked at random from sponsored items, limited to one gift per registered visitor, on a first-come, first-served basis daily, while stocks last. Worth being clear: the organiser is saying the gift costs nothing, not that getting in costs nothing. The organiser does not state how many go out each day, or from what hour. Official Register & Visit page, Official door gift page
- The feng shui talk runs on 3 and 4 October at 16:00, in Mandarin: the poster at the top of the official talk page carries two dates, "3 OCT | Sat" and "4 OCT | Sun", with a single time under both — 16:00 on a 24-hour clock — and there is no session on 2 October. The speaker is Master Suyen Lim, and the organiser's Chinese page says she will go through the feng shui points to watch when you pick furniture and plan a layout at home; the poster headline reads 买家具前一定要懂的风水密码. Worth knowing: on 1 October the "Feng Shui" Talk schedule table further down that same page still carried the previous edition's dates and times, which do not match the poster above it, and the organiser does not say which one to go by. The organiser does not state where in the hall it is held, or whether you need to sign up separately. Official talk page
The official listing is worth a look before you set off: pages 10 to 12 of the eShowguide name Samsung, LG, Haier, Midea, Coway, Thermomix (Vorwerk), Dunlopillo, Dreamland, Fotile and Maxis Solar, each with a booth number. If you are there for mattresses or to ask about solar, circle a few names on that list before you leave the house.
Worth knowing on the day
- Only same-day receipts count: the terms take same-day receipts only, and you have to redeem at the HOMEDEC Contest Counter on the day of purchase; Instant Reward is limited to one gift per registrant per day
- Submissions close at 21:30: the cut-off for Shop Big Win Big entries is 21:30 on each of 2–4 October 2026, though the organiser gives closing time as 21:00, so don't leave the receipt to the last minute
- Find the counters first: the official floor plan marks a REGISTRATION COUNTER, a REDEMPTION COUNTER and a CONTEST COUNTER, with an EVENT SQUARE and a CHILL OUT ZONE to sit down in
- Keep the camera in the bag: the organiser states that cameras and any form of recording inside the exhibition halls are not allowed without prior authority, and that only photographers with prior accreditation are given access
- The online contest has its own deadline: Tag, Share & Win runs online, submissions close at 22:00 on 1 October 2026, and the prize is 3 Tefal Easy Rice Fuzzy Logic rice cookers
- FRENZ Weekly Wins is not part of the show: those three rounds were scheduled before the show, on 16, 23 and 30 September 2026, so don't go looking for them on the floor

Before you go
- If admission is your main worry: as of 1 October 2026 neither the organiser's website nor the official eShowguide states whether you pay to get in, so assume you might have to pay, and check the official show page once more before you leave the house
- If you are there for the draws: the receipt has to be from the same day, a single receipt of RM200 or more counts as one entry, submissions close at 21:30 each day, and redemption has to happen on the day of purchase
- If you are shopping for something big: decide first which tier your budget lands in — RM3,000 or more, RM6,000 or more, or RM15,000 or more, because each tier gives you something different; and a single receipt of RM1,000 or more also earns you one card pick, though that one is for HOMEDEC FRENZ members only
Every corner, everywhere.
